Jeanette, Are or have you been an Adventist? I have only been an Adventist for 2 years and I currently still go to my SDA church every Saturday, it's very hard to go and hear some of the things I hear during sermon. I feel I would like to stay and speak with my friends and family and give them thorough Bible studies. But on the other hand I'm torn into leaving because I know how wrong their doctrine is and I'm not getting satisfying fellowship there. I'm torn. | ||

Hi Pnoga, I was an adventist for thirty some years. We have not been to an adventist church for about 5 years. I attend Journey Christian Church, they have an awesome kids program and their praise service is great. If you would like to connect, maybe Colleen can send us each other's e-mail addresses. Jeannette, I am going to the Debary/Orange City SDA church. It is a small church. I have visited the Orange City Baptist church several times and really enjoyed it. They have great bible studies and the Pastor is spirit filled. I definately want to find a church with a good kids program. I have an 8 yr old son and a 6 yr old daughter. I would like to connect and talk. I was feeling kind of lonely being the only one in my family here that has found the Gospel Truth. My wife doesn't really study the Bible much so she's not yet convinced. I am eager to do a study with my Thursday Bible group, but I'm nervous and I'm not sure if that is God's will yet. I do not want to give the study without any support, so I'm trying to show my wife the Truth. Colleen, can you pass my email on to Jeannette? Thank you. | ||

Hi Colleen, I am still here, just shy about posting. My granddaughter moved back from Ga, she goes to church with me every Sunday and loves it. The church we attend has an awesome kids program on Sundays and Wednesday nights. My husband still wants nothing to do with any church, feels that they are all the same. He believes and trusts Jesus but doesn't feel the need to study his word. After all, having attended SDA schools all of his life and having Bible class for all those years, he feels he really knows God's word. I keep praying for him. Jeannette, I sort of envy you if you really bebieve a "twenty minute" drive anywhere is a long ways to drive. Around here it takes at least that to locate the next town, and finding a good church takes much more than that. Phil | ||
