That's what I will call ABC Adventist Book Centre. I saw the latest flyer and it turned my stomach! There's a new book on the Sunday Laws, "Can it Really Happen Here?" and all kinds of books promoting Ellenology and Ellenolatry. And not only is there a Clear Word for kids advertised but there's a large-print Clear Word now too. They need to make sure EVERYONE gets their daily dose of Ellen! This is nothing but PROPAGANDA and how is it any different from the propaganda techinques the Soviets used during the Cold War? Just like the Soviet propagandists rewrote history and made up paranoid lies to reniforce there position, Ellen rewrote and revised Church history, made up paranoid fantasies that are still kept alive today by Adventist propagandists. Does anyone else notice the similar way in which Adventists employ propaganda to they way Soviet Russia did during Communism and the Cold War? | ||

Reb, you are seeing that the Adventist structure is built on deception. There are many who no longer believe the old "landmarks" of historic Adventism and do not teach them. However, the church knows that once a person buys into historic Adventism, then they are loyal Adventists and will support the Adventist structure with their funds and time, etc. Therefore, they have to keep using the Adventist distinctives in their evangelism. The physiological “pull” of the “remnant church of Bible prophecy”, Sabbath as the seal of God and Sunday as the mark of the beast” is a tested and tried methods of Adventist growth. I continue to pray that someone in high levels will stand up and say “enough of this deception!” Will it every happen? Not unless God works a miracle. | ||

It will take a miracle from God. The people up in the high levels of the SDA church probably like the $$$$ and job security. Hmmmm the WWCOG stood up and reformed after Armstrong died. But with the SDAs, Ellen has been dead 92 yrs. now and they're not any closer to renouncing her errors than they were then. They almost did at the Bible conference of 1919 but that was suppressed. | ||

That is why we have the prayer cirlce every Friday at sundown and Saturday at 1 PM, pacific time, 4 PM east coast time. Let us pray even with more diligence for our SDA brothers and sisters. Diana |
