As I was doing some writing this last week, I had a couple "AHAA" moments. The first was that I did not escape the tension I felt as as kid in my family, but could not/did not try to articulate it. That is why I had a hair trigger temper. The second "AHAA" moment was that in talking to SDA pastors in the past I told them I wanted a church that accepts me like my 12 step program does. I discovered that my church does just that. It accepts me just as I was and what I am learning there is helping me in my journey with Jesus Christ. They accept me as I change and grow. Thank you God. You are awesome. Diana |
