Years ago I was attending an SDA sabbath school study on the book of Revelation. After several weeks of attending I finally announced to the Teacher and Class that I was an adherant of an new prophetic teaching called "Pantribulationism". Adventist warning radar was on Red Alert "Danger Will Robinson Danger". That is until I hit em with the punchline. It all pans out in the end... The class let out a collective sigh of relief and several chuckles. It was a funny lighthearted moment in anotherwise dry, canned answer class. But the more I think about it I'm saddened. It was the class response that told me I would never be able to speak freely in a SDA church. | ||
