How can I help get these people I know started on a new path? they say they really want the truth, but how do I start? There's so many tings that we say that means someyhing else to them. I don't want to be insulting, so I really don't know how to start. Lookinng for an opening, Magpie |

Magpie, I would recomment they read the New Testament, with no other books to refer to. Start with the book of John, as that one tells so much about how much God loves us. Then read the other gospels, then the rest of the NT. Tell them to ask God for the Holy Spirit to teach them. That is what got me started out of adventism. Diana |

Diana, That is a great idea! John is such an uplifting book! I like your sequence, too. Sounds like what we have been doing for evening family worship. Gilbert Jorgensen |

I really do appreciate your suggestions. I found a great reference here on the board somewhere about a former Advebtist chaplain and then he came out and how he saw the light and it has really helped a lot. I don't remember who had posted it, but it is really good. He says that the best way is to show where EGW is wrong, then take it from there. I an so glad this Forum is here. God Bless you all.
