Jim, have you read Chris Lee's study here? http://www.lifeassuranceministries.org/studies/covenants/covenants1.html You can do a keyword search of this forum. At the bottom of this page, click on "search". Follow the prompts to type in the subjects or words you wish to research. You can search by thread topics or by content. See if that helps! Colleen |

Don't know if stuff like this is what your looking for but: Just found this on a recent google. http://treasuringchrist.com/_SC/nctindex.htm I found John G. Reisinger early on. http://www.soundofgrace.com/jgr/ This article is in response to a popular covenant theology book questioning New Covenant Theology called "In Defense of the Decalogue: A Critique of New Covenant Theology" In Defense of the New Covenant http://www.ncbf.net/PDF/Defense.pdf I have this book and use it for handy reference because of the way it is organized. "New Covenant Theology: Questions Answered" http://ids.org/pdf/nctbook.pdf |

A book that hits on the nature of the covenant well is Malcolm Smith's "The Lost Secret of the New Covenant". It doesn't get into the particulars that anyone coming from Adventism would need, but it does get the heart of the New Covenant very well. |

I would also highly recommend the "Gospel & the Covenants" audio presentation by former SDA Pastor Mark Martin (and also the sermons) which can be found at: http://www.exadventist.com/Home/Audio/tabid/57/Default.aspx Also, there is a "A Study on the Law and the Covenants" by Mark Martin that can be read at: http://www.exadventist.com/Home/Articles/lawstudy/tabid/453/Default.aspx Jeremy (Message edited by Jeremy on May 31, 2007) |
