I posted a couple of weeks ago about the Revelation Speaks Peace seminar being held in my city. I thought it was for one weekend but the meetings are going on for one month and Bill Santos is here for the entire time. I learned yesterday that there have been up to 800 people attending and apparently it is being said that 300 of these people are non-SDA (not sure if this information is completely accurate or not). In my thinking even one non-SDA person attending and getting hooked into their doctrine is too many. Please continue to pray that people who do attend will sense that something isn't right and will search out the Scriptures rather than taking what they are being told as gospel truth. I wish that I could do something to prevent this seminar from continuing but obviously I can't. Please pray that I will trust the Lord for this situation and leave it in His hands. Hi Blessed, I jost posted something on the "Adventist Beast" thread about Revelation. I think that is how I will join you re praying for both the adventists in the audience, and the presenters, and especially the visitors of the Revelation seminar. I will pray that they recieve the Revelation of Jesus Christ, as stated in Revelation 1:1. I will join you in that prayer for sure, and will pray for you as well as you requested. Lori | ||

My wife and I were introduced to the SDA church thru a Revelation Seminar approx 5 yrs ago. 27 of us decided to get baptized as a results of the superficial info we received by the evangelist. Once we became members, it was then we were introduced to things like the jewelry issue, unclean meats, Ellen White, and the list goes on. It was not long before 22 of the original 27 left the SDA movement. My wife and I decided to stay because of the friends we had made, and my involvement with the piano ministry. We eventually moved to another town and the blinders were finally removed (long story). We have been out of SDA for over a year and have not looked back since. Will probably miss camp mtg, but... | ||

Thanks so much for sharing Pianoart62. I have had a number of people share with me that the meetings start off big but when they get to the state of the dead, sabbath etc. people start dropping off. We are continuing to pray that these meetings will not be successful. Interestingly there is a Christian radio station in my city that advertised for them. I called the station up and spoke with the manager. He had no idea that it was SDA and what they believed. He said the reason he put it on was because so many people are interested in the topic of Revelation. I am dropping by the station within the next few days and taking the book entitled "The truth about SDA "truth" to him. Blessed | ||
