I will not be near a computer for the rest of the week. A friend from work went to New York for Christmas and needed some one to stay with her animals-2 dogs and a cat. She and her son offered to clean the front of my garage because birds roost in a crevice above the door and so we traded favors. But her computer is not working and I will not have access to mine. I will stop at home long enough to pick up my mail, then go to her house to stay with the animals. This is good for me, as it will help me decide if I want an animal. I think I told you that I took care of my son's cat for 7 years. When I moved to Nevada I sent Fang to him in Texas. He had Fang for another 3 years until Thanksgiving 2005. Fang had to be put to sleep because cancer had eaten away his right eye and was going after the left. He had gotten to the point where all he did was lay on a chair in my son's bedroom and sleep. When I went to Little Rock that year, they took Fang to the vets the day after Thanksgiving and he was put to sleep. I am sure I do not want another animal, but I do not mind caring for others animals for a few days. So, I will not be on the forum until next weekend. Diana | ||
