Has anyone seen/heard of this movie? I just read about it last night and it looks like a good one. http://christiananswers.net/spotlight/movies/2005/onenightwiththeking2005.html I was suprised to see it in nationwide release!  Leigh Anne | ||

I took my kids to see it. We were a bit disapointed because the story did not follow the true Biblical account. They threw in a few extra political upheavals and such. My 11 year old son was bored and my 14 year old daughter thought is was just OK. I did like the message of the movie. Like the Biblical story, the point of the movie was that God uses and appoints "for such a time as this". It gave us food for thought, to discuss as a family after the movie, regarding how God promises to use all things "to work for our good" when we love Him. Happy viewing, Denise | ||

Thanks Denise, I plan to see it on a date night with my hunny. Our kids are too little (5 and 7), plus we haven't been on a date in a couple of weeks. Our pastor is taking his SS class (they're ages 13-15) for a field trip. I'm sure they'll have a big discussion after the show! Leigh Anne |
