I have no word But neither hath the bird, And it is heard; My heart is singing, singing all day long, In quiet joy to Thee Who art my song. For as Thy majesty So is Thy mercy, So is Thy mercy. My Lord and My God. --Amy Carmichael

Mary, that is a wonderful poem. Amy Carmichael is so inspiringóher story impacted me greatly, especially the fact that during all her years in India rescuing girls from prostitution, she never asked for money from her English family, etc. When there was a need in her "house" for girls, she prayed, and God provided. She was an amazing example of a godly person who trusted God for her life. Colleen |

Hey Mary, Thanks for this poem! It came at a time when I thought of something so I used it on this picture: http://art-for-jesus.blogspot.com/2006/08/overwhelmed.html |

Great art Agapetos! I'll share it with my SDA friend and the Christians I'm going to meet with tonight! Please pray for her, that she may be able to see how SDA really are and begin to see and experience the Joy in Christ. |

I love the picture and caption you put with the picture and the poem. It reminds me of when I was a kid and used to be on my back in the grass looking up at the sky at night. Back then in LA County we could see the stars at night!!! Diana |

Thanks all, and Mary again for the poem. And for your experience, Diana! It's funny, you got to experience what I've only dreamed of (and now have drawn). And in L.A., to boot! Now that sounds like a miracle! Mwh, I'll pray for you & your SDA friend. If you want to share any pictures with them, feel free to do so! There are three others which touch on stuff which might help SDAs: The Champion, Sabbath-rest, Psalm 91. |
