Hello everybody! I've just returned from one of the many meetings I have been having with my SDA friend and one Christian friend of mine. The meeting went along nicely, we talked and shared some of our lives, it is really something she enjoys very much. We sang, praid and read some of Gods word, we are reading Acts at the moment. At the end of our meeting I planted a question about Michael the Archangel as Jesus Christ and we had a good talk about it. She has rationalised the vers about Michael in Jude 1:9 but she hasnt thought much about Daniel 10:13. Please pray that God will work in her. We did talk a bit about the Trinity and it is clear that she does not belive in the Christian definition of the Trinity she really holds a tritheism view. Another thing I noted was that she couldnt accept that Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. Saturday I and a Christian friend of mine are going to watch the movie: The Bible vs The Book of Mormon and my SDA friend are comming over as well, please pray for her and us, that we may be able to love her and that she may see the real God and not the SDA counterfeit. God is great! | ||

Mwh, you sure are a missionary. It is wonderful that you are given such opportunity to share. Several years ago I saw a movie about the Mormon religion that was done by a former Mormon who now is a Christian minister. It had a lot of interviews with both current and former Mormons in it. The movie was very interesting. | ||

The meeting went well  also we met today as well and it was really nice to pray, worship and read the bible together. Afterwards we did talk about all kinds of stuff one thing I noted was that my SDA friend has a lot of dreams and is connecting these dreams with SDA theology for example a dream went something like this: Her Dad had an accident on a Sabbath and he did know about the SDA Sabbath, but he did not guard it. So she connected it with the SDA doctrine of the Sabbath and told us that is what happens when you do not guard the Sabbath. A far out story but it really shows the spiritual bondage many of these people are traped in. On the way home I asked her a bit about 1844 and the IJ, about the most holy place and if that relates to heaven where God is and that the bible in many places tells us that Jesus went to sit at the right hand of God. While asking her now, I do get a different picture of 1844, the CS and the IJ that I've learned from ex-SDA sources, so I guess she is still trying to comprehend this doctrin. Anyways please pray for her and for us. That God may tuch her, tell her the truth and guide her to the true church of belivers. And for us that we may love her and be her friends. Mwh, it's not surprising that you got a different picture from her re: 1844 than we have given. She doubtless is still trying to comprehend the doctrineóand frequently, today, the IJ is not taught in detail as it was a few decades ago. The way the IJ is taught often varies from one location geographically to the next. Still, the real IJ remains the same, and Ellen White's writings still contain the definitive SDA doctrine. No matter how they "whitewash" the teaching publically, their words are merely facades to make more palatable the real unbiblical teaching. I realize that you are seeing how deep and convoluted Adventist teaching is as you talk with your friend. God is definitely preparing you for something.
