Hi everybody! I have just seen the movie "La Žltima Batalla" a movie about the endtimes made by Adventists from Brazil. I watched it with my Adventist friend and I must say that my guts turned around inside of me, it is so blasphemous. She has watched it four times earlier (one time in church) and I must say that is good SDA propaganda material. The movie in my opinion uses fear to hold Adventists in a tight grip. I saw it in Spanish and I would like to know how widely used it is in the Adventist church around the world, I belive it has been used much in Spanish speaking countries, but I am not sure if it has been translated to English and if it is used in the USA as well. A side question to this is, how big is SDA in the world which countries are the forerunners, I guess that it is very big in the USA, and Americas in generel and also in eastern europe, but I dont know much about its apearing in Africa and Asia. My wife have the movie, here in Dominican Republic, I have not seen the movie yet and I think that I will not lose my time watching that movie. | ||

Adventism is growing most rapidly in Africa and other third-world countries. Kenya has nearly 1/12th of the world population of Adventists. South and Central America have, I have heard, nearly a third of the world's SDA population. It is losing membership in Amerca, and is fairly small in Europe, although there are significant Adventist groups here and there, especially, it seems, in Scandinavia and some in England, etc. Romania (as Jackob could testify) has one of the largest percentages of Adventists in the European countries. I haven't seen or heard of the movieóbut I am not the first to know of these things, either! Colleen |
