FINALLY! We have our computer back from the doctor. The virus could no longer be ignored. We have a love/hate relationship. I wish they had never been created but I had a long taste of life without it and now I have a new found appreciation for them! Kind of like a husband...sometimes a bit of a challenge and a great deal unappreciated... Now to my quick question...didn't EGW predict that Israel would never again be an established nation before the Oslo convention? I think that was back in the 20's...? I am sure this has probably been discussed at sometime on the forum. My husband and I were discussing Jacob/Israel and his prophecies to his sons in Genesis 49 which lead us to various questions regarding the history of Israel. Would any of you mind sharing this history with us? Also, any history, quotes and prophecies of EGW on this subject would be appreciated, too. Thanks so much, in advance, for sharing your insight and thoughts. Denise |

Hi friend, Glad to see your computer is back from the doctor. This topic is a difficult one to find info on. I did a Google search and came up with this little blip: http://members.tripod.com/~Help_for_SDAs/egwindex1.htm They quote Early Writings, pg. 75. I'll keep looking. Hope you are having a great week! Looking forward to our next visit. |

Denise, welcome back! Computer virus, eh. I envisioned you folks soaking up the sun at some Caribbean all-inclusive for the last 2 weeks. Oh well, at least you saved on sunscreen, right? |
