Hi all: I just wanted to give you a line on some great resources. Clay Peck, former Adventist pastor in Loveland, CO has just added several things to his church's website. www.graceplace.org He has listed several relatively short articles on various topics of interest. I have so far only read the one on The Covenants and it is really good. It's simple, easy to read and well thought-out. My husband reports that the one on the Sabbath is equally good. Patria | ||

I'm working in Loveland this week and had hoped that Grace Place had a Wed evening service that I could attend. Instead it is Thursday. And I fly home earlier in the afternoon. Maybe next time... | ||

Clay is really a clear writer and has an awesome grasp of the new covenant. He has an article in the next issue of Proclamation which is being mailed tomorrow, hopefully. Colleen | ||

 Ric-b, I hope you didn't experience one of our giant wind gusts today and get blown back to Ohio! We had some mighty chinooks... I haven't made it up to Grace Place yet either. I have some friends there, and am hoping to make it soon, but it is a 1 1/2 hour drive from where we live...just a little too far to drive on an average Sunday and a little too close to fly. I can't wait to read Clay's article in Proclamation! I do like his writing/speaking style from what I have heard/read. I've recently had a friend offer to send me Clay's Galatians series that he preached right as he was coming out of SDAism. I'm really looking forward to it. Patria |
