This Fri, 28 Oct, will be my last day of work at the GC! The Lord has truly blessed me with a FANTASTIC new job, considerably more money, better benefits and best of all, IT IS NOT THE GC!!! It sure will be nice to be working back in the world and not having to deal with the "saints" all day long! The Lord sure is good, He had me wait for several years, I had several postions come and go, all were not nearly as great as this new job, so He sure had this new job in mind for me! |

He kept me at the GC for 5+ years, I saw more things there then I did in my 5 years as a Police Officer. Shook my faith to the core working there, I stopped attending Church or reading my Bible for months in Dec 00 after witnessing a man commit suicide there and the GC covered it up!!! But I can say that my time at the GC was a GREAT learning tool for my new job, I dealt with people from every country on earth, and gained a great wealth of knowledge on customs of other countries. I hate to say this, but outside of my Dept, and a handfull of other employees, I will miss the Geese and Ducks I fed at the GC more then 98% of the people there! |

It was worth the wait. I have several job offers fall through, and I was getting really depressed, thinking I was going to have to work at the GC until I died. But this job came along, far more money then I could EVER make at the GC, better benefits and working conditions, and there is more job security. Best of all, I was hired for my background and abilities, which I can finally put into practice. Yep, God is good to those who are patient. |
