Hi everyone! I just wanted to drop you a few lines...I finally went to the FAF here in Huntsville!!! It was SO much better than I once expected and the love just swelled and filled the room! Of course there were emotional moments and I did shed some tears, but for the most part, the excitement was very contagious and I enjoyed EVERY minute of our gathering. Thank you to each of you that encouraged me to look pass my fears and to RUN towards love and people that understand where I am in my walk with Christ. I in no way felt persecuted OR neglected...WOW! No condemning conversation at all!! WOOHOO!!! I feel like I have found a new family! Thank you for all the kind words and prayers...I really do feel like the heavy cloud of loneliness is passing over my life today!!!!! |

Wonderful to hear your experience Taybie. Just love your "WOOHOO!" Isn't it amazing how God is ALWAYS there, sometimes in the littlest way, but just to let us know we are not alone, little reminders at the perfect time....like Diana says, he truly is awesome.

Taybie, didn't know there was a FAF in Huntsville. So how many people are a part of it? And could you give me the info on when they meet, etc. Our son lives in Huntsville. |

I need information, is there a FAF group up in Northern California. I'll be traveling up there two weeks from tomorrow for about 10 days to visit relatives and camp for a week.
In fact if any of you are in the central valley, the Sacramenta area, the bay area or along the 101 up through the Redwoods I'd love to meet you for a cup of "coffee" decafe of coarse.

I don't know of any FAF group in N Cal. I do know there are plenty of formers scattered around up there--often people are reluctant to make themselves known, especially when they are in a transitional stage. It's scary and vulnerable to be losing and developing new identities!
