I thought that you all should be one of the first to know that my wife and I are having a girl. We are going to name her Dakota Riley. Thank you for your continuing prayers and support. I know that I have been absent for a long time (things have been rough for she and I on the financial side), but things are what they are. God doesn't give us anything that we cannot handle. Congratulations, Hrob, It is so nice that you have told us of your good fortune to have a girl. I had only one baby, a boy, and was so blessed to have him. Hrob, Congratulations on your little baby girl! I know that you don't know me, but maybe I can be of some help. Where do you live? I live in San Diego, CA, the most expensive place to live that you can imagine, well except for maybe Hawii. You see, we've raised four children while struggling financially and I know how to work the system. I even managed to stay home for 16 years with my children. Hannah, You are soooo right, garage sales and thrift shops are an awesome way to set up a nursery and household and clothe a family. But there are breaks for low income families in the way of phone bills, gas & electric, housing, medical, etc. My mom is a widow living on a fixed income and when I set it up for her three years ago, she was able to live on $980 a month right here in San Diego. When you consider than most people here pay much more than that for rent alone, it's nothing short of amazing. Hrob, let me know if you would like me to offer you some insights into the system.
