I just had a senior moment and started a new thread within a thread but did not want that. Now I cannot remember where I put it. What I wanted to do is remind us that Thanksgiving is coming up in a few days and I like to tell others the things for which I am thankful. What I wrote about is the things for which I am thankful. At the top of the list is the liberty and freedom I have in Jesus. Following in no particular order because each is meaningful to me is the FAF and the care, love, disagreements and agreeing to disagree seen here. My son telling me "Thank you Mom for not raising me in the traditional SDA way". That one brought tears to my eyes. I am thankful for my beautiful Grandson. I am thankful for being able to talk with other Christians knowing that we are saying the same things and that we love Jesus. I have so many thing for which to be thankful and I would like to know what each of you is thankful for. God has been so good to each of us. He brought us out of a cult like church away from a false prophet and I am thankful for that. When I tell others things for which I am thankful, I am not thinking about me, but am thinking and talking about God and I like that. So, what are you thankful for this Thanksgiving Season?? God is so awesome, I could write reams, but will stop now. Diana |

I am thankful for grace, I'm thankful for my strength and healing, I'm thankful for my children and my church family, I'm thankful for my job and the new house I'm in the process of buying. I'm thankful for peace in the midst of storms and wisdom that comes with years. I'm thankful for this forum and the friends I've made here. |

I am thankful that my mom is doing well with her speech therapy. It continues to move SO slowly...but there IS progress and we are able to communicate better now. Still have to do 20 questions.....but quite often she is able to write a word or two to give us a clue what she is talking about. Her attitude has been remarkable and an inspiration. And I'm thankful for my husband who so loves her too. He is the most supportive of husbands and I feel richly blessed to have him in my life. |
