Short book plug here. I recently bought a copy of Bob George's "Faith That Pleases God". It follows up with Classic Christianity and Growing in Grace. Definitely a must read. I'm not through yet, only half. Anyone who has read Classic Christianity will enjoy this as well. He goes a bit more in depth with some topics than he did in his other books. He puts in no uncertain terms why Jesus took away our sin and didn't merely atone for it, that we are forgiven completely, and that the object of our faith is Christ Himself. |

That sounds like a great book! I am currently enjoying "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. He is so profound. I really changed my thought process about God by reading his chapters on the trinity and how He can be everywhere, and has no concept of time like we do. He uses illustrations to really make you think!
