Hi all you lovely forum members, I am having a difficult time knowing where to post anything in reply to you. So I want to say thank you for all your suggestions. The Holy Spirit got to me before you did as I read from my KJV then my Berkely modern translation. I have been to see the Passion of the Christ. Through out the movie I was making it very personal, telling my self that Jesus did this for me and that if I was the only sinner in the world he would have done it for me. It was an experience I will always remember. I continue to read the NT and am in the book of Acts. The gospel that Stephen gave to the Jewish leaders before he was stoned was very enlightening. I have read it many times, but it means more to me now. So thank you again and keep me in your prayers. I need to find a group with whom to worship. Oh, BTW, it took me 63 years to find the truth. That was after all my SDA schooling. As I said in my first post, it was a 12 step program that cleared the cobwebs of Adventism out of my brain and opened it to the truth. I am thankful God led me to the 12 step program. Again, thanks for the encouragement and suggestions. |
