Can some one tell me what this video is? Is it the one called "The Spirit of Adventism"? If so, I have seen it. If not, I want to know about it, please. Thanks, Terry Beckham |

Thanks, Collen. BTW, I loved your testimony and printed it out for several of my FA friends to read. It was very powerful! God bless, Terry |

Much of the video "Adventism: The Spirit Behind the Church" centers around Ellen White. For example it documents a number of her prophecies that failed to come true. It also contains some of her statements which are contrary to Scripture. I suggest that you see it. - Max=Jude |

Thanks all, I have seen it. I feel it is somewhat weak, in that there is so much more evidence against EGWhite. I also think they should have left the "state of the dead" out of it. I still don't know what to belive in that arena, especially after reading All that Christ says about "raising them up on that last day" and the eleventh chapter of Hebrews, especially the last verse. Terry, The Worldwide Church of God, that I now attend, does not take a doctrinal stand on the intermediate state. Check it out at their Web site: www.wcg.org I agree with you that the "State of the Dead" should have been left out of the video(I have a copy). BTW, the new books, WHITEWASHED and WHITEOUT, are outstanding! These books can be ordered from Life Assurance Ministries. Their Web site is: www.ratzlaf.com Order Phone Number: 800-355-7073 In His grace, Dennis J. Fischer |

Wow Dennis, You attend the WWCG? They have really changed for the better since I was going to that Church in Salt Lake City. Course, I was only 8-10 years old too. I can still remember Herbert W. Armstrong, Po box 111 Pasadena Ca....isn't that amazing considering I'm in my 40s now. I still remember. My father was a faithful follower of that Church just before he died. Prior to that we were at the Sda church and the Jws too. I'm sure that my memory doesn't remember what other Churches we may have attended but I do know this, my father was a man that was very much a berean. Now look at his daughter! :) Who knew? God Bless you, Denise |
