In reading some of the discussions posted, I see that there is a significant amount of interest in what the early church fathers had to say about various doctrines such as Sabbath, etc. If you want to read or download the writings of the Early Church Fathers via the Internet, here are a couple of links to the entire collection: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/7084/ecfidx.htm http://wesley.nnc.edu/noncanon/fathers.htm |

Bob: Thank you for the addresses you have posted for us. Unfortunately, I work on Mac and it was not possible to download the collection. Do you know an address where I may find those collections for Mac? God bless, Ernie |

Ernie: I am not at all familiar with the Mac, so I don't know how to locate Mac-compatible websites. However, if you do an internet word search, the phrase "Early Church Fathers" should find a number of other links. Many theological websites contain these historical materials. Another excellent Christian website that displays links to a large number of historical, theological and devotional classics, including the Early Church Fathers, is maintained at Wheaton College in Illinois. That website is called the "Christian Classics Ethereal Library." The internet link is: http://www.ccel.wheaton.edu/ I hope this information will be a helpful resource as you study Scripture and Church history! |
