To everyone, First I want to say thank-you for your prayers. My grandson got home in time from Bagdad (has to return in two weeks) for the birth of their first child. They had a boy, weighing 7lbs 61/2 ozs and 21 1/4th inches. They named him Benton Lee. God is so awesome! The airport our grandson had to fly into is 5 1/2 hrs away (one-way). Well he met some people on the plane who gave him a ride part way so his dad did not have to drive the full distance. Gail |

Answered prayers ! Thanking God above all. Good news, Mary is home. She passed all her blood work and stress tests. Turns out that is was related to her blood pressure issues and cholestorol medications. She still needs to work on those and the doctor will be changing her meds this week ahead to address some of the interaction issues. Now the main cause of the chest pressure and difficulty breathing? Turns out they said her lungs were over extended. And why you may ask. Because she has just come off using an inhaler from a case of bronchitus she had been treated for. Thus, the majority of her problems were side effects combined with her needing to get her weight and BP under control. She still has lifestyle changes to incorporate and follow up medical attention, new meds etc... The bright spot here is that her heart is healthy ! Thank You ,Everyone for your prayers. Jim02 |

Hello, Everyone, I posted prayer requests nearly a year ago for my mother and my cat, Tiffany. Both were answered. My mother got through the anniversary of her accident okay, and I found Tiffany that evening. Jesus revealed Himself to me through the agony of searching for Tiffany--He gave me assurance she would be found. I learned to never give up on a seemingly lost cause, and Jesus searches for us and never gives up. I am sorry I waited so long to inform you of the good news. Praise God for His response and caring. Wonderful news! Thanks for letting us know, even if it was later rather than earlier. What a great lesson God taught you through Tiffany! |

My oldest son has been struggling with unemployment, working low pay jobs, near minimum wage, odd hours, you name it. Then he was working in a seedy job that I wanted him out of, even His pastor showed up at that job to encourage him to find another source of income. He took another job in a pizza resturant, a job that paid very low wage. At least that got him out of the place he was working at. Problem was , it was not enough to live on. I was talking about it at work and my employer overheard the conversation and interjected. He asked me a coupel passive questions and taht was it. I took it as likely he was just curious. I had previously mentioned my son's extensive skills but that he had been having trouble finding stable work. A couple days later, my employer calls me into a meeting with the VP and they are considering offering my son a training position since he already has extensive related skills. (Now understand, we have already laid off some people) In our area , there are a whole lot of people out of work. My son came in for an interview, they thought it over and a few days later hired him. So it will be a challenge to make it through training and to a full paycheck (3weeks away). This is already an exceptional event, a miracle of sorts if you ask me. Literally falling down upon him from above. My son has a chance now . If he can hold on, bear with it and not give up, he will be ok. We are in separate departments and all involved have agreed no interference, no special treatments and he is responsble for himself. Meanwhile, He had another meeting with his pastor at Assembly Of God an dthe pastor has set up a schedule of mentoring him each Wednesday night, to help him get some issues corrected and to help him manage things, put things right and to especially find stability in teh fruits of His faith walk in Christ. His pastor recongnizes he is dealing with a diamond in the rough. No quick fixes and a lot of things to work through. The fact that after 2 years nearly, they (His Church) have not let go of him even though he falls. That is an example of Christianity I rarely have seen. I do not know how it will go in the long run. I have already concluded this was and is answered prayer, "manifold". No matter how it turns out. Jim02 |
