I m angry because UMC has screwed me up with a bill. I paid it on 2/24/09 with my credit card. Today I received two notices from a collection agency with no dates for the charges. I called UMC and was told the charges were for 8/04/08. I told the lady I had paid those with the credit card. She is researching to see where the mix up was. Please pray that it gets fixed up. I want to scream because I paid the bill. Diana L | ||

This is such a minor thing . . . I'm almost embarrassed to ask for prayer . . . I will be participating (speaking wise) for the first time in a "Sunday" Church function this Saturday - for a women's/young girls brunch. I am reading a poem I've written. I have to say I'm petrified. I have spoken to large groups in the Adventist system - and always felt a little nervous there - but this really does have me scared for some reason. Firsts in new environments, I guess. Anyways, I've been sick the last few days and last night was also running a fever again - and it has all settled into my chest so my voice is pretty bad . . . If you would pray that if I'm to follow through and be there that God will "heal" my voice for that time . . . I have spoken with the "planners" of the brunch and I will have a small invitation after my poem for those that would like to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior - that I would count it a privilege to walk with them through that decision in prayer after the brunch . . . Dear FAF friends! Could you please join us in prayer that our house that has been out for sale over 2 years (sigh) will be finally sold this spring. It has been such a burden for us having this not settled. I feel my faith in prayer is becoming weaker as time passes, it is hard to be patient and trust God's timing. And it feels akward bringing the same prayer request to God over and over again. Maybe something is missing, but I'm not sure what... Thank you for praying! Please also pray for our meeting with a SDA theologian friend tomorrow where we will discuss adventism! | ||

I am asking for prayer for a woman friend from church. Her name is Ana. She has a growth in her abdomen that is hurting on her left side. The doctors have not found a reason for this yet. She looks like she is pregnant. She has to be anesthetized for the doctor to do a biopsy. Please pray for her. She is seeing a doctor in a couple of days, again.
