Thank you for your prayers! It helped me not to worry too much for my coming grandbaby. The good news--from the amnio--is that there is no Spina Bifida. All normal. It's a girl. In Christ, Cathy Toria, I am so glad for you! |

Cathy, Great news. Kristen, I will pray for complete healing. Toria, Is there news as to your situation with the cancer? Last I remember markers were up. I am praying for you. I pray for Jesus to do what He loves to do, to bring healing. I also pray for your dear husband, and the rest of your family, and of course you. How are you holding up? Did you start chemo treatments again? How can we pray, specifically. You are a treasure. Lori |

Lori, I have tests scheduled for May 20-21, and a visit with my oncologist on June 5th. During that visit, I have been told that we will be discussing what chemo treatments I will be having. I will, unless things change, be having my first treatment at that time also. I am holding up very well actually. I do have 'bad' days, but am hoping I can wait until my scheduled appointments before I have to return to the clinic. My grandma always told me that He will never give me a cross without also giving me the strength to carry it. I am finding that to be very true. Knowing that folks are praying also lends me strength. And my husband is phenomenal. I am happy that he is also in your prayers. Thank you. In His Amazing Grace, Toria |

Cathy, How totally cool is that? What a big relief! Toria, You are so dear to remind us to specifically pray for your husband as he walks through this valley with you. We will hold him up as well. Love, Mommamayi |

Praise God! Three children have been removed from the Strong City Cult compound. I just know one of them is the girl named Healed! I'd be willing to bet that the other girl was the one beside Michael in the interview, and the boy was the boy featured in the documentary. Praise God Praise God Praise God!!! |

I have been holding this news for a few days. My son (My youngest) proposed to his sweetheart and she said yes. Last night he came over for supper and mentions that they want a Decemember wedding. My wife was estatic. I have not seen her so giddy in ages. We have been longing for new life and Grandchildren. This is yet another example of God's love. Even in the rough places, good things are happening. I thank God, He is so loving, so generous. jim02 |

To let you know that prayers are being answered. I just got a call from the Clinic. My counts are still too low to have chemo tomorrow, BUT my counts are on the way up. Last week all my counts..Platelets, Hemoglobin, etc. were down with the worst being the Neutrophils at 0.9. Today everything is looking good except the Neutrophils, but they are moving in the right direction and are now at 1.3. If/when they reach 1.8 I can have chemo next week. So, please keep praying that the white count will reach 1.8. When I got the call, first I gave thanks to God that things are going in the right direction, and now am thanking you guys for the prayers. He is Faithful...... Toria |

Last week when they did my bloodwork, things did not look good, so they waited 24 hours and did the tests over. Nothing had changed. One week later (after much prayer) things are so different. I have hope that things will continue to improve. Still not sure if I will keep my port, but I am hopeful for that as well. When I think of how very good our God has been to me, how much He has brought me through, how I have never felt alone in the worst times, I get overwhelmed with feelings. I have often felt that I was led to this forum, not just to get me past the 'dark feelings' from my time as an SDA (I had so much anger), but to put me in touch with a group of Christian people I can turn to for prayer and moral support when life gets difficult. I am so thankful for all of you..... Toria |

Hi Toria, I continue to pray for you. WIsh you were closer, so could pray and hug you in person. I will pray for the things you have asked, and more. Hugs (((((Toria)))))) Lori Oh, wanted to tell you about Carol, since I know you prayed for her recovery so much. Sunday in church she came without a walker, just a cane. She was able to stand, unassisted, and raise her hands in worship. She walked sideways!! down a narrow row (too narrow to walk forward with a cane past the chairs) to go get communion. Always before she has had to walk to the side of the church with those who are disabled. She walked down the row of chairs, and up the center isle. I was more moved than she was I think! There was a time when we thought she wouldnt live, then a time we thought she would be paralyzed for life. God is so good. (carol if you are reading this, sorry to steal your thunder) . |
