I posted under another topic that I have been released from membership in the SDA church, but I also wanted to mention that it was an answer to years of prayer! I didn't know at the time where God was leading me, but I prayed that He would show me the way He wanted for me, and He answered abundantly! Guy |

Thank you again and again for all your prayers for my mom. God truly is good. Two weeks ago the doctors were saying that she would lose her foot and maybe even part of her leg. When they did the surgery yesterday all she lost was one baby toe! God is SO good. Kim

Hi All, A few days ago I returned from the cancer clinic. As some of you know, my last tests were not looking so good. My blood work showed that the cancer was on the move again. Also the CT scan showed a mass in my groin area. More testing (and much prayer) later, and my CA-125 marker (blood work) has gone down by 65 points. The mass, they think, is scar tissue from the two operations I had. They will be repeating all tests and examination in two months. Much relief here. When they called me into the clinic over a week ago, they told me to come prepared to receive chemo. Now they are going to hold off on that to see what happens with my next visit. Thank you all who have been holding me in prayer. I feel prayer has been answered 'big time.' Praise God, and thank you Jesus. Blessings to all toria

Glad to hear the good news Kim and Toria! ******************************************* Praises to God from Psalm 145: "The Lord is great and worthy of our praise; no one can understand how great he is." (Psalm 145:3) "The Lord is good to everyone; he is merciful to all he has made." (v. 9) "The Lord helps those who have been defeated and takes care of those who are in trouble." (v. 14) "The Lord is close to everyone who prays to him, to all who truly pray to him. He gives those who respect him what they want. He listens when they cry, and he saves them." (v. 18-19) "I will praise the Lord. Let everyone praise his holy name forever." (v. 21) |

Toria, I am so happy to hear how God is caring for you. A praise of my own now. I do not have a torn rotator cuff. It is a tendonitis of the biceps tendon in the shoulder. I get therapy 3x/wk and do exercises as I hold my shoulders forward instead of back. I have very little pain, 3 weeks later. If it continues this way and there is no pain next week, that will be the end of my therapy. Thank you for your prayers and that I can get therapy where I work. God is so awesome. Diana |

Hi All Thank you all again for your good wishes and prayers. Yes God is soooo faithful. Living with this serious illness means that I never know what is coming next. Twice in the past 4 years, my doctors have believed I would not make it more than a few months. Then, the treatments work, and here I am. They joke about making me a 'poster child'. They admit that my strong faith has something to do with my survival. On my last chemo treatment, the nurse asked if she could say a little prayer before she put the needle in. I know that my faith has grown since my illness. I have come to a closer relationship with Jesus. That alone makes all the rest worthwhile. Diana, so happy to hear that you are also on the mend. I pray that you will soon be pain and therapy free. Blessings to all toria |

An answer to something I have not really prayed about. For the last 7 years of so I have gotten light headed, but not quite dizzy. When I lived in VA, I had a massage therapist do myofascial release to my neck and back and that took care of it. Then the winter 0f 2001 that did not work. My doctor told me it was my allergies and when I took the allergy meds, I did not get the light headed feeling. Fast forward to this weekend. I took a ceu course on balance. I told the instructor yesterday about my lightheadedness and she suggested I see a specialist about balance. What we learned was how our eyes, inner ears and our somatosensory system influence our balance and lightheadness. So I asked her if I could be the person she did the eval on for all the students for today. So this morning she does the eval on me and found that the canals in my right ear were causing all my problem for the lightheadedness. She had me do a couple of exercises and then told me to do this exercise 3x/day, 5 reps each time. The lightheadedness has not bothered me all day. Yesterday it did when ever I bent over. I thanked God when I found this out and I just had to share this with all of you. We truly have an awesome God. Diana |

Another answer to prayer. My computer was in the shop for more than 3 weeks. When I got it back, I plugged in my printer and it did not work. I thought, oh boy, I have to take this thing back to the shop. I prayed about it and God put it into my mind, this morning, that I check all the plugs. I did. I pulled each plug out and put them back in. Voila!!! my printer came on. So I stood here and thanked God over and over and over. He really does care about every little thing in our life. Diana |
