We studied, sang, and prayed. All with the Bible alone. It was so peaceful. I loved it. I'm going back! First time we have gone to a Wed night study at the new church we have been attending. The amount of time we spent directly in the Bible was refreshing. Not a bunch of philosophy crud, and everyone trying to look smarter than the person next to them. Just a detailed study in the Word and what it means to fear God. Perhaps my favorite part of the whole study was reading the description in Rev 1:9-18 and the pastor asking "People often say, 'When I get to heaven I am going to ask God why (fill in your blank here) happened.' After reading the description in Rev 1, are you going to be demanding answers or are you going to fall to the ground like John did?" That sure hit a chord with me!
