Thought you might enjoy learning about a special man, Dr. George Matheson...he was a man Oswald Chambers loved to hear preach & pray @ St. Bernard's Church of Scotland. (I'm reading the book: Oswald Chambers: Abandoned to God). The poem George Matheson wrote came out of loss & pain. I know it will encourage some of us who are experiencing hard things right now. http://www.igracemusic.com/hymnbook/hymns/o08.html |

I did not know that background story. Thank you, Nowisee. The song is amazing...and so was the author. Thanks for the encouragement. Colleen |
