At Trinity Church in Redlands we are doing a series called The Journey. Sermons from the desert walk of the Israelite nation. Part of each worship service is a short (5 minute) video featuring a different persons or couples faith story through their Desert Experience. The following link leads to my answers to the 22 questions I was sent in preparation for the filming of my own which took place last Thursday. I hope they provide hope to those of you who are going through your own personal desert experience. Faith through a Journey God Bless, Ross |

God does indeed lead us through the desert experience, my desert experience lasted about 25 years. Perhaps one day I will be able to write about that desert experience, but never have been felt that I have been led to writing about it. Sometimes I smile to myself when someone I know is walking through a desert experience and have only gone for a short while, a month, six months, a year. I know also too that God is walking with them and that he has a plan for their life. I smile because they want emediate relief from the life that seems to have them swim upstream only to be washed back down day after day. There is a patch bikers wear that say,s, "It not the destination, its the journey." Sometimes in walking that desert you begin to wonder if there is a destination, but there is and God will bring you to it. Thank you Jesus for bringing me by way of the desert. River |
