As the Apostle Paul was touring the city of Athens, with its 30,000 idols and shrines, he suddenly realized anew that each false god or religion was an assault upon the true God of heaven. Moreover, Paul was gripped with the thought that there is a death greater than dying, and there is a resurrection more powerful than the grave. What was at first to be a brief vacation became a catylst for evangelistic outreach. Since all Christians are missionaries, there is no sabbatical in Christian service. As the song declares, "I know He lives because I spoke to Him this morning." And because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
