At the church I go to, which is a non-denominational Christian fellowship, the pastor preaches through the Bible. It's good expository preaching. Anyway, he's been preaching through Ephesians lately... (He takes a long time to go through a book of the Bible )... and he's now in chapter 6 where it talks about having "the whole armor of God". Today's sermon was on the "helmet of salvation." It was a sobering sermon, but a very encouraging one for those of us who've been rescued from a false religion! It should be on the church's website in a day or two and you can click on it to listen to it. (Last week's sermon was good too "Shield of Faith - part 2" If anyone wants me to put the link for it here, let me know and I will.) He started out in John 3 where Jesus basically told Nicodemus that he was not saved - that he was under condemnation unless.... Anyway, the sermon is really good and encouraging for us formers! |

The website for the church is www.trail.org To go straight to the part where you can click on the sermons, I think it's http://www.trail.org/audiopage.htm Today's sermon isn't there yet, I just checked, but it should be there by tomorrow or the next day. Last week's sermon was good too! ("Shield of Faith part 2" by Pastor Rick) What a refreshing change to hear the gospel instead of the Adventist false "gospel"! |

thanks - always looking for good sermon links! =) Our pastor takes a long time to get through a book too. Sometimes I lose track of the big picture if it takes too long - but Ephesians is one my favorites. |
