They are building a very large apartment complex right next to a large Seventh Day Adventist church here in Kelso and no doubt people will go to that church simply because it's right in their front yard. However just because a building has a cross on top of it doesn't mean it's a safe church to go to no matter how near it is to you. | ||

So true River. It reminds me of Jesus' words in Matt 23:27 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness." A church may have all the outward signs of being Christian, even going so far as to disguise their true colors to win adherents, but have no connection whatsoever to the Lord of Scripture. So sad. | ||

My old SDA church is in a building that used to be a restaurant. The church raised lots of $$$ to build a steeple on it. It has been there for about 20 years now and it looks out of place. | ||
