Hi, I am a Canadian Former Adventist, living in Alberta Canada. I am very interested to know if there are others In Canada, especially Alberta, who would be interested in connecting. I came across this forum while I was studying my way out of Adventism, about 1 year ago, and it has been the single greatest resource I've come across, with the exception of the Bible itself. I was also blessed to find a small church plant in my city, where the pastor is a former, who went to the same Adventist university as me, and was able to speak to my experiences in a way that other christians did not understand how. I would love to connect with more canadian formers, whether in person or online. If you feel like making yourselves known, please feel free to respond, as i'd love to get to know you also! Hi, Fdg! There are some formers in Canada who would be great resources. If you email me at proclamation@gmail.com, I can forward your information to one of them whom I know lives in Alberta. We also have some former Canadians here in the USA who were originally from Alberta! Ha! I know that doesn't really help you, though. We do have an amazing archive of wonderful conversations about a lot of different topics that we face as we leave Adventism. It's essential to have two things as we process: good Bible teaching and study with people who don't share our Adventist background, and places to share reactions, questions, and stories with others who have walked this road. Fdegourville: Hi, I am a Former in Calgary..lured into sda thru Prophecy Seminar in 1995. Always had doubts about Ellen White but was hooked by their "Sabbath" truth/Not. God opened my eyes about 5 yrs. ago when I stumbled across info that egw's tombstone in "OBELISK" shape (Xtremely Pagan Phallic symbol) & after further research I got out...Praise God!
