I recently watched the movie "Heaven is Real". Fascinating movie. What really captured my attention was the "Prince of Peace" painting of "Jesus" at the end, and the child prodigy who painted it.
I've been looking into her and her other paintings of "heaven". Her art is simply amazing, and her talent is truly inspired.
However, the skeptic in me is screaming at me to not pay attention to this.

As a former, I am heavily guarded when I hear about people having "visions", and being spoken to by "God" in dreams, ( which a few of my, new to me, Christian friends, have been saying it's happening to them, and they are seeking to become prophets and seers). This painting however makes me feel very uneasy. I can't discount the experience of these 2 children from the movie, but when I look at the painting of the "Prince of Peace",I feel uneasiness.

Does scripture have anything to say about a thing like this?

I don't know much about either the painting or the movie but I managed to find information about the young lady and her painting online. Although I don't really have any negative things to say it does leave questions in my mind just like you're expressed. The dreams she bases her art work upon is what I really question. Above all else I like to take a "scriptural" position and right now I don't have a firm one except to say Jesus' appearance and dress wouldn't have set him apart from any of the other Hebrew people of his day.

Fdegourville; that painting makes me uneasy too. I'm not sure why. It could just be my imagination.

I completely agree, if you look at it closely one half of the face is actually very evil looking. The first time I saw it, it gave me the creeps. Look at that picture and cover the side of the painting that is light, you will see what I mean about the other side. Something isn't quite right about it.
