I am ashamed to admit I am feeling panicked & ill prepared. Having recently left sda & still have not completely erased that brainwashing nor applied myself to dedicated Bible study I don't know what to believe. TRUMP had a lot of support from Christians but I now believe they have been deceived. The lesser of 2 evils is still EVIL. There is much evidence that JEWS are in control of most everything....PEDOPHILIA, SATANIC worship, is rampant in Govt's everywhere...POLITICIANS are involved or compromised. Then there's NWO, Illuminati, Jesuits, Vatican, etc., etc., etc., I know "Revelations" speaks of Jews, Synagogue of Satan" Is TRUMP the Antichrist? WHAT TO EXPECT? May God have Mercy on us all ... Hey Carol, I don't often post any more, and I may not believe the same about this as others here, but the first you should do in not panic. That is not from God. There is so much confusion about end times that who knows which scenario is right? Anyone who claims they know exactly what will happen, doesn't really. The main point is to be trusting in Jesus and be ready for him to return at any time. Ask God to give you peace, pray and read the Bible, and don't necessarily get into conspiracy theories, they don't help. And, no, I don't think Trump is THE Antichrist. Did you know people have been antichrist spotting since at least the second century, and no-one has been right yet. God bless, Adrian |

Carol, I want to say this gently, but spending time perusing alarmist internet conspiracy sites is not going to bring you peace or make you more informed. Quite the opposite. As an example of the prolifigate misinformation on these sites I would cite the anti-semitic positions promulgated by so many conspiracy buffs. Such anti-semitism couldn't be more opposed to the teaching of Scripture. The Apostle Paul took such arrogant gentiles to task in Romans 11 and we should too. There should be no place for anti-semitism in the Church. I would just really, really encourage you to start a New Testament reading plan this coming year. Spend time in the Word being conformed to the Word. It's calming reassuring, convicting, and far less confusing then all the conspiracy stuff. |

Chris Thanks for your response. I want to know what this site believes concerning ISRAEL. Is anti-Semitism to be condemned in light of the Bible saying ... Synagogue of Satan. Should we still be supportive of Israel? |

Your main focus should be the development of your relationship with God. Only He knows the future. Trust His wisdom and do as the bible says.."Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of thine heart". It is the desire of satan to distract the children of God from focusing on their relationship with Him. The bible is clear..."Seek first the kingdom of God". I spend little to no time studying prophecy. I place my future in His capable hands. That then frees me up to focus upon my desire to grow in my walk with Him. This has reduced a lot of stress in my life and given me the joy of sharing Christ with others on a daily basis. If people dont know Christ then prophecy really doesn't matter. Jesus is our focus. ...Animal... May God richly bless you in your walk with the Lord. |

No. In no way does that phrase give anyone a license to engage in anti-semitism or somehow make anti-semitism "okay". According to Colossians 1:13, I was a part of "the domain of darkness" before the messiah rescued me. It's the same type of terminology with the same type of meaning. We all are part of Satan's kingdom until we come to faith. We all start out in the same boat, condemned. While the terminology might vary, the truth of the concept applies equally to Jew and gentile. Granted the phrase in Revelation is especially pointed because it is directed specifically at Jewish leaders in the first century who were persecuting their own people for believing in the Messiah. However, using a phrase like this to paint Jews as a people group as somehow more evil than you or I runs counter to the rest of Scripture and is, frankly, offensive. |

CHRIS: Thank you so much for your latest response & Very Well said REBUKE which I readily accept!!! In reading your response I then re-read my post & realized how egregious my words were by saying "should anti-Semitism be condemned...". I made my recent posts in much "HASTE" wanting to get feedback on "ISRAEL" & others views on ZIONISM. MY QUESTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN INVITING OTHERS VIEWS ON ISRAEL & ZIONISM. As sda I came to believe that those with faith in Christ were the true Israel. After my sda faith was shattered I fellowshipped with Christians who were strong supporters of ISRAEL. This opposed what I believed about the true ISRAEL but I had been deceived before (sda) & did not present Strong Opposition to their view as I had certainly been humbled after discovering how wrong I was about sda. Trump rec'd strong support from Christians who are pro Israel (ZIONISM)... which made me wonder. Anyone who knows me...KNOWS that I am on the other side of the spectrum from "anti-Semitic" or "racist". FACT... I have had friends of all races & religions ... perhaps non-judgmental to a fault. I have had MUCH interaction with Jews, including spending time in ISRAEL (way Too much to go into depth here) and in fact maintain friendship with some that spans nearly 4 Decades. My non-judgmental views & curious nature afforded me attendance to synagogue with my Jewish friends, spending Passover with an Orthodox Jewish family in Israel as an invited guest in their home for a week (& many other experiences that non Jews would not be included in). COLLEEN - I acknowledge your THANKS to CHRIS for his response to me..... & again I say Thanks to all who replied & again CHRIS I say THANK YOU for your very well worded reply & deserved REBUKE. I hope I have learned my lesson about replying in Haste ... without weighing my words. And I hope y'all can relax a bit ... I am not trying to incite racism or hate or anything of the like on the site...... Humbled ..... Carol |

Hi Carol, What you are asking is, of course, highly controversial, as I'm sure you're aware. Just a couple of points. The idea that the church is spiritual Israel was not invented by SDAs, it was the majority view of most Christians from the very earliest times until the mid 19th century, so they simply took on the general view of the day (at least on that issue). This seems to be what Paul is explaining in Romans 9-11, particularly the olive tree illustration. It is not that the church has replaced Israel, but that the concept of Israel has been expanded to include both Jews and Gentiles who believe in the Messiah. There is a book by Justin Martyr (2nd Century) called "Dialogue with Trypho the Jew" in which he explains, for example, that prophetic gifts have been taken from the Jews and given to the church. In other words, if you believe that the church is spiritual Israel, it is not some weird, modern view, but a very old and established one. If you want to listen to a treatment of the subject of modern Israel, you could try Steve Gregg at "The narrow path" - Google it, then scroll down to the teachings on Israel. I like him because he is balanced and gracious, even with those he disagrees with, and doesn't go around screaming "heretic" at those with a slightly different view on minor issues - all too common, unfortunately. Hope I helped, God bless, Adrian |
