Prayers needed now, please

Author Message Foofighter Registered user Username: Foofighter Post Number: 306 Registered: 7-2005 Posted on Friday, March 07, 2014 - 11:10 am:        The son of a dear friend is heading to court in about an hour to a hearing regarding some child custody issues. I would really appreciate any prayers on his behalf. Just a short explanation. The mom is very emotionally unstable (a psych eval is needed, but not sure if that will happen) and is heavily involved with new agers, astrologers, channelers and all manner of spiritual darkness. She, of course, thinks she has "the truth" and is spiritually above everyone. It is a very sad situation. If prayers could be offered mainly that the right decisions will be made for the welfare of the kids, and that the dad will have a spirit of peace as he testifies. He is not an "up front" person. Doesn't enjoy being the center of attention and gets nervous in this situation. He is a relatively new Christian, and wants to do what is best for the kids. These kinds of cases are complicated. Likely more days in court will follow before a just conclusion is reached. I guess things went as well as possible. The judge will decide on things next week. As some here have said, this has already been going on for a while now. Hopefully things will be somewhat settled after this court proceeding. But, with the mental and spiritual condition of the ex-wife, it will never be truly over I suppose.
