What is "the Church"?

I am looking for your gut reaction to this question. Current or former or never Adventist, I am interested in your first response to this question. 10 words or less. Not a theological discussion, please. A spontaneous response. My own first response surprised me. I hear this often when our small groups meet during the week- sharing prayer and ministry to God and one another even if it started as a potluck and someone will say "we just had church" .... For myself, I find I have become much less interested in people's gut reactions. I'd rather find out answers from scripture.
