I want to share it with you and ask if any of you have had anything similar in feeling, if not content. I do not think this was literally prophetic but the feeling it left behind was so awe inspiring I just have to share. The earliest part I recall had me driving down a country road in an older model car with some children in the back seat - they were not my children and I have no idea why they were in my car. I drove down a hill and noticed beautiful music drifting up from a valley. I slowed down and then as there was nowhere to turn I reversed back and drove the car in reverse to a school in the valley. Myself and the children followed the music to a playing field. On the field were gathered many children but I did not see the source of the music. I became aware of a great misty cloud lowering down to us and when it reached me I was lifted up. This is the feeling that has been left with me: I was raised into the cloud and overcome with joy and light. I thought "this is it! I am being raptured up!" it was ecstatic and so pure and loving that I want to be able to go back to that dream and feel it again. However, the cloud lifted again and left us back on the ground, I felt as though I had been given a hug from God and a glimpse of what was to come. The dream was so vivid! I think it was telling me that I should keep nurturing and teaching others (the school and the unknown children), that I should draw on my past (old car and reversing) but look forward to unimaginable joy when I finally do meet God. Many years ago, before I had ever read the Bible I had a similarly vivid dream of rapturing, just before it happened all the birds in the world flew past me in a rush as trumpets sounded, and then just as I was lifted an earthquake and blinding light woke me from the dream. I just read Revelations and noticed the reference to birds. How did that get in my subconscious? I think I am understanding why death shall have no hold on us when we have the promise of something so much better than life in the here and now. God bless Caz |

True. We don't have to be afraid of death. God is with us, and death will just be another transition. We will be in eternal joy in Heaven |

I really believe I am not fesrful of being dead because the Bible says those who die in Christ are with Him through eternity. However, i have worked in hospitals and nursing homes and have spent years caring for elderly, dying loved ones and I'm terrified of a long, miserable, drawn out death. Every week at least once i go over this with my adult children making sure I won't have to suffer and when my end is close I can die at home |

Thank you for commenting. I still don't know what my belief is about end times and rapture. I do know that the feeling this dream left me with has not faded, I still feel God has sent me a warm, encouraging hug and a glimpse of what will be there after this world and its pain have passed away. Punababe, let us pray for a swift end for ourselves and our loved ones when our time on earth is finished. God bless Carolyn |
