My father has been home 44 years. Every Father's day I think, "I don't have a father anymore" and I have thought of him as gone and in the grave I visit. This year looking at everyone's fathers posted on FB, I decided to post my father's pictures. When I had to put a caption on it, I wrote that he was "home". Then tears came to my eyes thinking, "He's alive and home with our Heavenly Father." What a wonderful new thought. My old beliefs die hard sometimes. |
