This guy named Chris White has been one of my favorite independent documentary filmmakers for quite some time, he's made some popular documentaries on the "New World Order" type stuff as well as spiritual warfare (though for the "internet culture" of anonymous trolls etc these topics are often married :D )He has gotten progressively more Christian (and less sky-is-falling-doomsday) since he realized some time ago that, yes, the world is not as it seems, and he has taken to making very Jesus-centered documentaries/non-fiction shorts. Anyway just last night I learned that he had taken the time to make a documentary called "Seventh Day Adventism Theology Debunked" with about an hour and a half runtime, he's done a really good job with it, and it has ended up being one of the single most detailed studies of Biblical Covenants one could ever expect to see in a single sermon, I'm 80 percent done with it and he has not even mentioned Ellen White/false prophecies or anything like that, it is strictly a study on practiced mainstream Adventist theology when weighed against Biblical theology/the Gospel. I highly recommend reviewing this and, if you approve of it, pass it around to anyone and every one that may be able to benefit from it. It's kind of new and I'm kind of happy(pride is a sin;)) to be the one passing it around, so please do let me know what you think of it, for better or worse. The only thing I caught him saying that I disagreed with was his point on identification of the 1st day and 7th day as sunday and Saturday.... There is too much evidence - in my view- that the lunar calendar identified ALL the Sabbaths of the Jewish ceremonies. but even lunar calendar is obsolete in view of the Cross! | ||

"Saturday was the Jewish sabbath , TODAY thanks to JESUS the First day is the christian sabbath and those who deny this are Blind and under the Law !" That quote is the first thing listed on the above mentioned facebook site. If a person really thinks that Sunday is the new christian sabbath, then I fear for them as much as I do for SDA's . It is NOT about a day! It is about a person! That person being Jesus Christ. People are free to keep any day as special, or no day at all. Nothing wrong with going to church on Sunday. Nothing wrong with going to church on Saturday. Nothing wrong with going to church on any day. What is wrong is telling others that that their salvation depends on going to church on any certain day. Just in case you think the documentary and the facebook site are the same--I'm only about halfway through the documentary, and it hasn't said that Sunday is the new Sabbath at all. | ||

Sorry, I read your quote from the facebook site too fast. I thought it said that Sunday was the new Christian Sabbath, not "Today." I can get behind that! | ||

Man I posted this on CARM and it's all divisiveness and bitterness, I'm gonna leave Chris White a message on YouTube, "Sorry to break it to you man, but I posted your video on CARM and everyone there said they are smarter than you." I stand by the Covenants part of the sermon as the best I've personally seen, well worth my time, he steps through the abrahamic and mosaic through to Christ Jesus' fulfillment, etc. |
