Thank you Nowisee and Colleen. Following up with the link posted above and with Colleen's comments on the All Seeing Eye, there is an interesting pattern presented in that same website. The Masonic "eye" was not only in a historical art involving the Whites but lately it has also become some kind of creepy icon for the SDA's and other religious groups as well. It is also popular between celebrities and even government. Here is the link:http://leavethecult.com/the-all-seeing-eye/ |

Byfaith, that is a very interesting link! "From all the Judeo-Christian man-made (invented) religions, one of the most deeply involved in occultism is the Seventh-day Adventist. Even thou they might look like a smart harmless cult, all you have to do is to follow the trace masonic satanic symbols marking all their propaganda, websites and books. Some of the most common ones include obelisks or phallic symbols, all-seeing eyes, pyramids or magical triangles known as Tetragrammaton, hidden owls and humanistic symbols in the form of a happy human. Not only their pioneers and “prophets” had a very masonic historical background but also their distorted doctrines are all polluted with Judeo-Christian Gnosticism." Pretty much sums it up! |

Seventh Day Adventist Prophet Ellen G. White mentioning her deity “the all-seeing eye”: “There is need of each one in every school and in every institution to be as was Daniel—in such close connection with the Source of all wisdom that his powers will enable him to reach the highest standard of his duties in every line, that he may be able to fulfill his scholastic requirements, not only under able teachers, but also under the supervision of heavenly intelligences, knowing that the all-seeing, the ever sleepless Eye is upon him”. (Ellen G. White, Spalding and Magan Collection, Page 75) “Let all your acts be such that you would not be ashamed to meet them in the judgment. God’s eye never slumbers or sleeps. This all-seeing eye is ever upon you. (Ellen G. White, Manuscript Releases, Volume Three [Nos. 162-209], Page 52) “A faithful record of all their works is daily made by the recording angels. All their acts, and even the intents and purposes of the heart, stand faithfully revealed. Nothing is hid from the all-seeing eye of Him with whom we have to do”. (Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, Volume 1, Page 468) |

As I was researching Adventism about a year ago, I ran across the cover of Ministry Magazine, 1990. I'll have to say, this was, and continues to be, one of the most disturbing things I've seen printed by the Adventist Church. It is creepy on so many levels and is clearly anything other than Christian! For the second link, you need to scroll down a bit to see the discussion... I looked at the pictures and read the article. Was very interesting. My dad was offended to join the Masons and he turned it down. Im glad he stuck to his integrity. |

Free2dance, you just hit it right on the nail. The SDA's are extremely involved in occultism. I think once you learn how to understand all this Masonic symbolism around, then it becomes easier to identify their work of darkness behind the curtain. Unfortunately Masonic Judeo-Christian religions have done an amazing job polluting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sadly, the Christian community has underestimated all the evil involved in this. I am really happy to know that you can see it too. |

Lyrical and Nowisee, thank you for sharing those interesting links. Apparently there could also be an occult side to the meaning of those symbols. The SDA logo and the flame could also have an esoteric origin. These two links offer some interesting points of view: http://www.jesusisfreedom.net/the-esoteric-origin-of-the-flame.html http://leavethecult.com/2011/12/01/the-occult-origin-of-the-adventist-symbol/ |

Punababe808, I completely agree with you. The top leadership of the SDA church is definitely involved in the occult. Unfortunately their followers can't see it and if you try to tell them something they get offended and turn against you. IT's like if they were under some kind of hypnotic spell. A spiritual phenomena... |

I completely agree, Byfaith! It reminds me of the quote, "It's easier to fool a person than to convince them that they have been fooled." It's all quite scary and sad. The closer I look at these things the more my heart breaks for my family and the more I thank the Lord for seeing me and calling me out of "Babylon". That being said I understand their inability to see, I have been there too. If ANYONE told me that Adventism was created by the occult I would have been disgusted and written them off as nuts! I also would have felt as though my entire experience with God up to that point was being called satanic and was invalidated by such claims. When I was an Adventist, God very much spoke to my heart through His word and I had a deep sense of Him waiting for me. I thought this was what a personal relationship with Jesus was. I know now that is simply what it feels like to be called. I think that if someone had told me Adventism was born through the occult I would have believed they were invalidating this calling I was experiencing and since I knew it was from God's word I would have written them off. I think an important part of exposing this to Adventists is to let them know that God pursues and calls His people from all over, but that it is up to us to follow Him out of the darkness and into the light. Hearing Him call does not constitute a relationship. It is evidence of the fact that there remains a choice to be made-- it was for me anyway. (Message edited by Free2dance on February 11, 2013) |

Wow! Free2dance, I feel just like you. I think we all former sda's have many things in common. It is something spiritual... Once the veil falls from our eyes we begin to see amazing things. The Apostle Paul calls it bewitchment: "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified." (Gal 3:1) The Book of Revelation uses a similar term "Magic Spells" saying the Babylon the Prostitute engaged in some kind of sorcery or dark spiritual activity to bewitch the nations and fool them. "By your magic spell all the nations were led astray". Rev 18:23 There is so much evil involved in this but people does not want to believe it. Like you said "it is up to us to follow Him out of the darkness and into the light", but it is something that must be done voluntarily once you hear the call. We have no authority to open their eyes. However, I have seen that many others are starting to become suspicious and they are waking up little by little. People need to stop trusting religious leaders. My family for example tend to confuse the SDA institution with God and that is the base of the problem. They can not tell the difference between the spiritual church which is in our hearts and their physical man-made (Invented) institution. You are so right, Byfaith! It is "bewitchment", as Paul said. There are only two places: the domain of darkness and the kingdom of God's beloved Son (Col 1:13). We are either in one or in the other. There is no neutral ground. Colleen |
