My wife and I have satellite tv, yet we mostly end up watching net flix. We do watch some of the church channels and I had the tv set on a church channel I had been watching during the week. I was getting ready to switch they system to a british tv series that we had been watching and this preacher was on the tv. He made this statement. "Jesus became the works of the devil." My mouth dropped open as these words hit my ears..BANG! I thought, "Oh Lord, did he just say that?" It just makes you wonder at such a misunderstanding of scripture. The Bible tells us in Timothy II 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Timothy II 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. That there was surely profane babbling if I ever heard profane babbling with no understanding of our Lord Jesus life, death and resurrection whatsoever. River | ||
