I conducted my own personal survey on FB last summer. I wanted to see how many of my FB adventist friends are thankful for Jesus' finished work versus being thankful for the sabbath. I knew what my results were going to be... I just wanted to confirm my opinion and make it a fact! I counted that I had 40 adventist "friends" on FB. Then every week, either on Friday or Saturday, I would check their status updates. I did this for 6 weeks. During those 6 weeks, on the average there were 4-6 people writing how thankful they were for the sabbath. That's about 10%. There was only one adventist friend of mine, who on the average would post every other week that he was thankful for what Jesus has done him. I'm not even sure how you calculate that kind of percentage. I've mention to a few of my adventist friends my observation that most adventists are more thankful for sabbath than they are for Jesus... they've since stopped posting as much about how thankful they are for the sabbath! vivian |

U2bsda, I KNOW what you mean! It has been real hard for me. I almost can't get on during "sabbath" hours. One of these days I might break down and say "Happy Sabbath Rest" on a Sunday just to get them real upset. |
