There is just no comparison. Diana L DALLAS, TX - The Baptist General Convention of Texas has produced a multilingual, multimedia Bible CD that it hopes to place in every home in the state by Easter. It features audio versions of the New Testament in more than 400 languages and video testimonies in English and Spanish. The Baptist group is relying on its 5,700 congregations and 2.3 million members to purchase and distribute the CDs, which cost them $1 each. Sam Silva, director of Community Ministries with Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, says its men's Sunday school class bought and mailed about 20,000 CDs to a neighborhood of immigrants. Members of the church's bilingual service followed up face-to-face, asking people if they received the CD and telling them about the church. Silva says the CD went out about ten weeks ago and families are starting to show up at the church, professing a belief in Christ, as a result. |

Now THAT is spreading the gospel! You are right, no comparison. I recently received my "beast" pamphlet announcing a series of "end time prophecy meetings" in our local "auditorium". Didn't make me think of Jesus at all... |

But to the sda - Jesus isn't enough - and neither is the Bible. We need 90 something more books to really understand it. |

Well said, Sondra! Diana, thanks for the comparison. It is so blatant, actually--it's amazing to see the difference! Colleen |

No sda has said a thing about the contrast. Hmmmm, I wonder why??? Our awesome God knows and that is what is important. Diana L |
