Hi, I hve been after some old quotes from the ARCHIVED DISCUSSIONS 7 database. Most of these give me an error, "file not found!" or some equivalent. I have send a message to Richard Tinker at richardtinker@gmail.com, but I have not gotten a reply, or acknowledgement. If anyone can contact him using another method, or knows of another admin that can look at the ARCHIVED DISCUSSIONS 7 problem, I would appreciate it. There are some posts there I would like to access. If anyone remembers, there was a reference to a magazine (for SDA pastors, I think) where it was stated clearly that EGWs writings were as authoritative as the bible and they should be used as such. There was another thread where EGW herself claimed that her writings were inspired. I have looked through the postings that exist and can't find the reference to either thread. The timing when I read them originally suggests that they would be in ARCHIVED DISCUSSIONS 7, so that's why I am asking, but they should be on-line anyway. |

It seems that some of the archived discussions were lost or corrupted during the website migration a year or two ago when we changed servers. The hosting company oversaw the migration, of course, and somehow in the process some of the archives were lost. We're really sorry--we haven't been able to find a way to access the ones that have the "file not found" message. Colleen |

Colleen, Do you happen to have a backup of the forum from any time in 2008 or late 2007 (which is when "Archived Discussions 7" were from), which might contain some of the threads/posts from that section? Jeremy (Message edited by Jeremy on January 05, 2010) |
