Dennis, have you seen the DVD, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed?" It's not made from a Christian viewpoint, but it's made from the viewpoint of "intelligent design." It also suggests a direct connection between Darwinism and Nazism. No wonder the Nazis acted just like animals!

Err, please excuse my literacy problem again, but, how do I find the members' section?

Dennis,

You said that this is a composite:

quote:

Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us"? (James 4:5 ESV)

Phil asks for some passages from where this may be composed. You gave many passages, but somehow I don't see how James could compose that thought from the passages that you gave. Those passages only say that the NT uses "the Scriptures say" as an introduction to quoting the OT. The other set of verses just comment on the fact that "the heart", "the spirit," is bent towards evil. Like I said before, I'm getting old, and maybe cannot see what you can see in those verses, but I cannot find the source of the composite there.

Adrian,

Thanks for the link to your excellent study. I especially appreciate the collection of quotes from the early church fathers. I hadn't seen all of those together before like that.

I agree, Jeremy. Those early church father's quotes are awesome. Yes, Adrian--please send a Word file!

Thanks!

Colleen, I send you the file.

Phil, I did what you said, but that just gave me a list of topics. Sorry guys, but I can't figure this out. If you just send me an email to the address I gave you, I think that would be the best solution, at least for me!

The easier way is to just go to Adrian's site and click on whichever article you want to read. Then copy it and paste it to your word processor. That way you can highlight it, or do whatever you want with it as long as you don't change and republish without Adrian's permission. That's what I did and works perfectly.

Adrian,

I logged onto you website and gave you my email address from there.

P.S.
If you would have clicked on the 'Members Only' button, scrolled to the bottom and clicked on 'Last Day', what you were looking for would have come onto your screen.
