Hi everyone, A good thing happened to me this past weekend. My wife, Kristyn, and I have been volunteering in the college-age Sunday school class at our church, helping with discussions and the like. The pastor who leads the college-age class and small groups asked us back in April if we wanted to help teach the class once a month. Kristyn and I had been struggling on finding a place to serve in the church, and we'd thought this might be the answer. So fast forward to this past Sunday. It was the first Sunday we were scheduled to teach. Guess what was given to us to teach? A wrap-up of the book of Galatians! How God-like is it that this is what was planned for us to do? Kristyn told me she wanted me to do the majority of the talking, since the book means so much to me, as it does to all of us here. It went well, I realize now I should've organized my notes better, and should've practiced more, but I feel that the kids in the class heard the Word and that they got a good grasp of the main message of Galatians. I really emphasized that what Paul wanted the Galatains to do is to strive for living by the Spirit, flee from legalism, and seek that new creation, the new heart, the changed life. It's the teaching on a new creation that always gets me choked up. The truth that I am a new creation in Christ amazes me so. In a way I felt this opportunity to teach again was a gift from God, a chance to teach the Bible in the truth of the New Covenant. I felt very blessed, and humbled to be able to do this for God. No doubt, I was scared by it all, but the more we teach, the easier and more natural it will become. For those of you struggling with the guilt that comes from when you taught and said things in the past that you now know were not God's truth, God can redeem those feelings that trouble you, and give you the "great gift" of proclaiming the grace and truth about Him again. Blessings to you all, Clinton |

Congratulations Clinton and Krystin on your new position. God is using you and all your experience to teach the youth. You have a perspective that no other Christian has, unless they came from a cult. Diana L |

WOW! Clinton, I'm so happy for you and Kristyn. I spent my entire life teaching and now I have to unteach myself. Maybe on day the Lord will see that, like you, I can teach again. This time the truth. May God bless you and Kristyn in this new ministry. Hec |

Clinton, absolutely AWESOME! Praise God! He's not only given you and Kristyn the opportunity to teach, but He confirmed the appointment and His hand in it by giving you the part of the NT to teach that most completely captures His great gift of mercy and grace to you! I LOVE how God does that! He KNEW you would be able to teach the new covenant with His power and truth! Thanks SO much for sharing this story! I love it! Colleen |

Clinton, it's good to "see" you! Thank you for sharing this amazing update. God is using you & Kristyn's lives to share truth. His word will not return to Him without accomplishing some incredible, awesome things! (Isaiah 55:10-13) |

What a book to be able to teach on. I can't help think of the saying that we as Christians are beggars teaching other beggars how to find bread...we who have been through the wringer and finally understand the grace of God can be a conduit for giving a unique perspective. God bless you and Krysten in your work for Him Enoch |
