It's only been about 5 days since I've been on the forum but it feels like longer and so much has happened but I have to tell you. Paul Carden, Jim (Valentine?), Richard and Colleen Tinker, Esther, Keri, and Dale and Carolyn Ratzlaf, Joyful Heart and Mary all have beautiful feet. Nope I do not have a foot fetish. I'm telling you that the Holy Spirit Himself says it How Beautiful Are the Feet of Those Who Bring Good News. Romans 10: 15 Whether it those who spoke up front or those who organized and shared with people at the Michigan stop of the Tour of Encouragement they all brought good news. There is too much to tell all at one sitting but I am so thrilled and even more motivated to share the gospel with those who are lost and in particular to those who have their eyes veiled in Adventism River, Diana-I do believe I have sufficiently hugged everyone enough for myself and both of you. I have to publicly say Esther thank-you so much for your organization efforts. I didn't get to say it in person but from what I understand you were a ring leader in pulling it together and I from where I stand it went perfectly. Esther and her family are absolute complete sweethearts and her little boy made me miss my little ones so much. Richard---what a kind and gentle man Colleen-what a great teacher and people person Paul Carden-great exhorter and one of the funniest men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting Jim-I wish I could hang out with him more he would be so fun to have Bible studies with (Paul and Jim were in my car at one point I enjoyed it and hope I didn't scare them too much when I forgot to be extra careful on those country roads in South-West Michigan) Keri--what a great hostess, kind heart, and brave soul-Keri gave us a tour at Andrews and what an experience that was (the last time I visited Andrews I was an SDA and what a different perspective I had this time) Joyful Heart-the name suits her, she puts a smile on my face just thinking about how happy, and bubbly she is and every time I turned around she was spreadinig that happiness around The Ratzlafs. I have to put the 2 together because what a team they are. 52 years of marriage!! And you can tell that they are more in love today than when they started. I am convinced there is no way Dale could have had the ministry he has without Carolyn if any of you are not married yet I think these 2 are a living, breathing testimony of prayerfully walking in integrity and carefully and choosing the right spouse. Up until now I had only heard Dales voice through his books and through his Truth Led Me Out Cds. Now he is officially one of my favourite teachers/preachers Like I said there are too many things to talk about injust one sitting from visiting SDA landmarks to the sessions themselves, to meeting everybody and some praying for the captives to be set free on the Andrews university campus and meeting some struggling formers (Please pray for John-I'll talk more about him in the Prayer Section) and the wonderful people of The Chapel But all in all these people have beautiful feet!!! Jamaican hugs are wonderful . Enoch, you were a delight and I can see you are God's man. It was fun to finally connect with you. I will treasure the short time we were able to spend together. I am so struck by the need to continue to pray for these venues and the people they touched. God is at work and it is Him that will be glorified, by changed hearts, and transformed lives. It is a wonderous thing to be a part of. Keri |

Enoch, thank you for your beautiful, encouraging post!! God is working! I'm praying that the ripples of God's grace from this tour will turn into Tsunamis! (sp?) We all have so many brothers & sisters in Christ now, don't we? |

I have to give a special shout out/brag about Mary and her boys. Mary has an amazing testimony and to me what makes that testimony even more special is her little boys. They are so well adjusted cute and bright. Her older boy amazed me with his insight and friendliness. I have not seen a young boy fit in with adults like that in a long time and he has convinced me to begin reading CS Lewis' which I think I'll start some time this year. Thanks for the feedback on the post. I most surely will be talking more about some other experiences there and I don't know if anybody else will be talking about it so I don't wont to gush too much now and possibly steal somebody other's thunder. I'll say this for now, visiting the SDA village and Andrews University were both eye opening experiences |

Enoch, it was totally wonderful meeting you in person. Thanks for being part of our afternoon touring Andrews. You are fun and tangibly alive in Jesus. I'm so glad you were able to attend! It is such fun to meet the forum family! I agree--the whole "event" was a rich experience that's impossible to adequately relate. (And Enoch, I totally "get" your emotion about adoption...!) Colleen |
