About 4 years ago a prayer circle was started and I said I would make sure it got taken care of and kept up to date. Well, I have let down on it in the past year. I want to apologize to every one. We had decided to pray for all our SDA brother, sisters, & friends at 2 different times. First time is at sunset on Fridays in our own time zones. Second time is at 1 PM Pacific Coast Time, which is 4 PM East Coast Time and what ever the time is on your time zone. I want to restart this again. Prayer for our adventist family is so important. Let us remember to pray for all adventists all over the world. I also want to include all Christians, especially those being persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Let us all pray together. If you have any broad requests, such as Revelation Seminars in your area, please put it in this thread. Our awesome God is still in charge and in Hebrews 13 He tells us He will never leave us or forsake us. Diana L |

Thanks!! Awesome idea. Your responses to certain things have prompted me to pray for the institution of the SDA Church. You are such a good example of someone who has a heart for prayer ... I've learned much from you. Keri |

Keri, Just tell God thank you. It is not me. Since leaving adventism I am learning to let God use me in whatever way He sees fit. Sometimes I fight it for a while and sometimes I do not. God has His way in the end and I am happier doing whatever His way. He really is awesome. Diana L |

A REMINDER FOR OUR PRAYER CIRLCE 1. Friday at sundown in your time zone. 2. Saturday at 1 PM PCT/4 PM ECT. Things we pray for: 1. All SDAs around the world. 2. The Ratzlaffs and Tinkers trip this summer. 3. All evangelical churches that they learn what adventism really believes. If you have something you want put on the list, just put it here on this thread and I will add it to the list. I know we had a lot more things, but I have forgotten them. Our awesome God is where 2 and 3 are together. The Holy Spirit takes our prayers to heaven. Diana L |

Thanks for the reminder, Diana. I used to pray at the Saturday time. I'm going to try to get back in the swing with you-all. Lon Solomon (Mclean Bible Church) tells a story of answered prayer. (You can find some great sermons on his website. He's great to listen to.) He says that he was leading a Footsteps of Paul tour. On a very important day that they had to be entirely outside in Greece the weather was calling for heavy rain. That evening at supper he told the group to pray that God would show His power by moving the rain. Lon said he just picked a neighboring country. "Let's pray that He sends the rain to Bulgaria." The next day dawned lovely. They had a great time. Not a drop of rain fell in Greece. That evening when they returned to the hotel, Lon said he turned on the CNN Headlined...Torrential Rain and Flash Flooding in BULGARIA! Our God Is An Awesome God! Pegg |

Love the story Pegg!! Thanks for passing it on. If you haven't seen the movie, "Faith Like Potatoes" - it is excellent - with amazing God stories. I rented it from a regular rental store and ended up watching both the movie and the documentary based on the movie. I highly recommend it, because it is based on a true story. Even the special features section of the DVD was extraordinaire. The movie started shooting with virtually no money in the budget to pay the staff. They walked by faith and not by sight even to do the movie which was based on walking by faith and not by sight. Keri |
