For any SDA out there who are sitting on the fence over Adventism I suggest you watch this short Documentary Movie - Called To Be Free. I watched this months ago but stumbled across it in my collection of data and watched it again yesterday, what an inspiration it's just like looking in a mirror of Adventism. The only difference between WWCG and SDA is the Trinity, but even the early Adventists including EGW didn't believe in the Trinity either to later on in her life. Most regulars on this forum would have probably seen it by now but thought it was worth listing for Newbies to the site. Just open the link and scroll down the page, http://www.exadventist.com/Home/Video/tabid/502/Default.aspx |

I seen this video and was amazed at it,i pray for a similar work to happen in the Adventist church. Does anyone know if when someone is baptized in the SDA church if they are required to sign a doctrinal statement of some sort.( I wasn't baptized in the Sda church) |

You might be interested in a discussion we had about this video in November. http://www.formeradventist.com/cgi-bin/discus/board-auth.cgi?lm=1228314627&file=/4529/8055.html Like you, I was deeply effected by this video and pray - oh how I pray that people who see the error and deception and know the truth will take stands for it - and Jesus! I, too whole-hearedly encourage everyone who hasn't to watch this video. |

I joined the SDA church by profession of faith (without baptism because I had already been baptized in another protestant denomination). I was required to sign a doctrinal statement. When I signed it, I thought I understood what it meant, but it took me 16 years to find out what SDA doctrine really is, under the Christian-sounding words. When I fully understood, I had to get out.
